I can say that this piece definitely has inspo from the very talented Dan Kitchener, a mural artist whose works have appeared in my feed lately. https://www.dankitchener.com/ his style is marked by bright bleeding reflections of rain-drenched cities, high color and a sense of a cyberpunk-retro future. Anyway, this fractal here is my depiction of media in a transitory stage - on a screen big enough to blot out at least part of the horizon. but maybe a hiccup causes all the visually stitched-together screens to flicker chaotically for a few milliseconds as they shift to night mode. What kind of transitional or technical anomalies can we expect of our visual media in the future, if any? We are a long way from the days of degaussing a CRT monitor with a magnet...
Chaotica beta fractal, all art and effects done in-program, with no touchups except the tiniest bit of cropping.
