Just playing around with visualization of concepts. Or rather, in the case of fractals, the visualization often comes first and then a concept is linked to the piece when the image strikes a particular fancy, and is further developed or finished to bring out that concept.
Also, reading up on the different kinds of brainwaves produced in the different stages of sleep/consciousness.
