Hopefully the first of many refresher explorations in Mandelbulber. This is a 3D volumetric render created from a base shape available in the shortcuts up top and tweaked/customized to the max. The render is accomplished with advanced settings which I am still getting a hold of like raymarching w/ambient occlusion, reflections, etc. Also has a customized material with transparency, slight luminance, and orbit trap lights (which are a little buggy/featurey as they appear almost like snow particles), and many other settings. Not a perfect render (I still see some standalone white pixels) but getting there!
